Prior to joining UBS Asset Management, Hayden was a Senior Vice President and Director of Asia Pacific Fixed Income at Alliance Bernstein. In this role he was instrumental in building out their Asian fixed income platform and responsible for regional and country portfolios as well as having input in global aggregate strategies.
Hayden will be sharing his expertise on navigating China’s regulatory maze and how best to address the regulations in the local bond market.

Gordon Tsui heads the fixed income team at Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China’s leading domestic life insurer Taikang Insurance Group Inc. He has responsibility for managing Taikang’s USD bond portfolio as well as developing its third-party fixed income investment management business. Prior to joining Taikang in Dec 2014, Gordon was Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Hang Seng Investment Management and Lead Fund Manager of Hang Seng RMB Bond Fund, which won the “Best in Class” award for “RMB Bond” category in Hong Kong by Bloomberg Businessweek. Gordon obtained first class honours degree in Economics from the LSE on full scholarship awarded by Hong Kong SAR Government. He stationed in New York as the Representative of Hong Kong Monetary Authority between 2001 and 2004.

Mr. Chen joined Vanguard Investments Hong Kong Limited in Oct 2017 as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Review, China, looking after product strategy and product management of Vanguard’s China onshore and offshore business. Before joining Vanguard, he spent 8 years with China Asset Management (HK) Limited, subsidiary of a leading mutual fund manager in China, in charge of sales, marketing and product development of the firm’s cross border business. Mr. Chen helped the company to launch and distribute various equity and fixed income mutual funds and ETFs to both Chinese and overseas investors. Previously, Mr. Chen was a Director at Deutsche Asset Management Hong Kong, covering Taiwan and China institutional markets during 2005-2009. Prior to that, Mr. Chen spent over 10 years with ABN AMRO Bank in corporate banking and equity derivatives in Taiwan.

Yan Pu is Head of Portfolio Review, Asia, responsible for product management and development, capital markets and product-specific client engagement for Vanguard's Asia business. Before her relocation to Hong Kong, Yan served as co-head of Americas Bond Index team in the Vanguard Fixed Income Group, based in the US. In this role, she managed portfolios including the Short-Term Bond Index Fund, Total International Bond Index Fund and Emerging Markets Government Bond Index Fund. She also managed the Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF, Canadian Short-Term Bond Index ETF, Canadian Short-Term Corporate Bond Index ETF, U.S. Aggregate Bond Index (CAD-hedged) ETF and Global ex-U.S. Bond Index (CAD-hedged) ETF. Yan joined Vanguard in 2004, and holds a BS in international business from Jinan University in China and an MBA in finance from Drexel University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® certification.

Prior to that, Mo has worked at Deutsche Bank from July 2009, as China economist, with Jun MA who is former Chief Economist of China’s central bank PBOC.
Academically, Mo has studied her Ph.D. at Columbia University in NYC, under the supervision of Prof. Joseph E. Stiglitz, the 2001 Nobel Laureate in Economics, and has helped Prof. Stiglitz in advising the Chinese government in the past 12 consecutive years (2005-2017). Mo also holds M.A. from Peking University and B.A. from Renmin University in China, both in International Economics.

Before joining AGI in 2016, Wesley served as the head of fixed income department in Taiwan Cooperative Securities Investment Trust Co. He was responsible for a global high yield bond portfolio management. Moreover, he was actively involved in various quantitative strategies development, especially focus on arbitrage trading of FICC and volatility index (VIX) markets. Kheng Siang is the Asia Pacific Head of Fixed Income at State Street Global Advisors, based in Singapore. Prior to joining SSGA in 2005, Kheng Siang was a portfolio manager at ABN AMRO Asset Management where he managed global fixed income portfolios. Ashley Perrott is Head of Pan Asia fixed income within UBS AM and has over 30 years experience in fixed income markets. He and his team are responsible for the portfolio management of all Asia fixed income funds and mandates, covering both hard and local currency strategies. This also includes country specific portfolios, such as onshore China fixed income investments.
Ashley joined UBS AM in 2004 in the Sydney office, before moving to Singapore in 2008. He took on his current role in May 2012. Prior to joining UBS, Ashley gained extensive fund management experience covering a wide variety of investment markets and clients.
He was Head of Fixed Income at Westpac Investment Management for 5 years where his team was responsible for the management of all cash and fixed interest funds. He is also the London Branch Manager, Pioneer Investment Management Limited (PIML). Jesper joined as part of the early team that established Tradeweb in Europe. In 2004 he was appointed to head up the company's expansion into APAC, initially based in Japan and later Hong Kong. Most recently, he held the position of Managing Director at OANDA in the region.

Before joining BlackRock, Mr Pybus worked at UBS Global Asset Management from 2008-2013 as a fixed income investment specialist where he focused on global, currency and high yield strategies. Prior to that he worked for Lehman Brothers Asset Management from 2005-2008 covering the full range of fixed income strategies as a product specialist. Mr Pybus started his career at Morgan Stanley Investment Management as part of the Strategic Planning and Product Development group from 1999-2005.

Kem has over 15 years of capital market experience and has just joined AxeTrading to lead sales in the APAC region. Over the last 8 years he has worked as a senior sales figure in Societe Generale and HSBC’s fixed income ecommerce teams. Kem helped to grow the Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets businesses through his expertise in electronic trading, market structure and execution advisory services.
Kem honed his etrading knowledge with roles at both Bloomberg and Reuters but started his career at Hemscott in the late 90’s. Having worked at both sellside and vendor institutions, Kem has been able to have unique insight of market structural changes over the last 10 years.

Richard Schiffman joined MarketAxess from BlackRock Financial Management where he was a Managing Director from August 2010 to August 2013, leading the Aladdin Trading Network (ATN) Open Trading initiative. Prior to joining Bluefin in April 2014, he worked for BlackRock iShares raising seed capital and spear heading market making and distribution initiatives with clients in the UK, Germany and Switzerland. Simon has also held equity sales and program trading roles at Tradition and Barclays Capital in London.
