Archie Ng is responsible for the development of renminbi business in Hong Kong, as well as liaison with Mainland authorities, and international organisations such as IMF. He joined the HKMA in 2014 and was appointed the present position in 2017. Archie will be doing a keynote presentation on the new regulatory reforms.

Hayden Briscoe

Hayden Briscoe has overall responsibility for all Asia Pacific fixed income activities at UBS Asset Management. This includes fixed income investment capabilities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and China. He is also a member of the Global Fixed Income Management and Global Fixed Income Investment Committees.

Prior to joining UBS Asset Management, Hayden was a Senior Vice President and Director of Asia Pacific Fixed Income at Alliance Bernstein. In this role he was instrumental in building out their Asian fixed income platform and responsible for regional and country portfolios as well as having input in global aggregate strategies. 

Hayden will be sharing his expertise on navigating China’s regulatory maze and how best to address the regulations in the local bond market.

Gordon Tsui

Gordon Tsui heads the fixed income team at Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China’s leading domestic life insurer Taikang Insurance Group Inc. He has responsibility for managing Taikang’s USD bond portfolio as well as developing its third-party fixed income investment management business. Prior to joining Taikang in Dec 2014, Gordon was Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Hang Seng Investment Management and Lead Fund Manager of Hang Seng RMB Bond Fund, which won the “Best in Class” award for “RMB Bond” category in Hong Kong by Bloomberg Businessweek. Gordon obtained first class honours degree in Economics from the LSE on full scholarship awarded by Hong Kong SAR Government. He stationed in New York as the Representative of Hong Kong Monetary Authority between 2001 and 2004.

Mo JI joins Amundi Asset Management in April 2015, as Chief Economist for Asia ex Japan, based in Hong Kong. Previously she works at Azentus Capital Management (prior Goldman Sachs Principle Strategies), as Global Chief Economist from April 2011. Prior to that, Mo has worked at Deutsche Bank from July 2009, as China economist, with Jun MA who is former Chief Economist of China’s central bank PBOC. 

Academically, Mo has studied her Ph.D. at Columbia University in NYC, under the supervision of Prof. Joseph E. Stiglitz, the 2001 Nobel Laureate in Economics, and has helped Prof. Stiglitz in advising the Chinese government in the past 12 consecutive years (2005-2017). Mo also holds M.A. from Peking University and B.A. from Renmin University in China, both in International Economics.

Previously, Mr He has worked with Commerzbank in Germany and Singapore. He received a doctoral degree in Finance from Mannheim University and is a graduate from Fudan University. Mr He is a fluent speaker in Chinese, English and German.

Tariq Dennison CFP manages discretionary portfolios of global stocks, bonds and ETFs for Asia and US-based pension plans and HNWIs at GFM Asset Management in Hong Kong.  His niche is understanding how to put together assets and ETFs across multiple markets and exchanges.  Tariq is a frequent writer and authoritative speaker on ETFs and presenter at the HKSFA, CFA Singapore, is a lecturer at ESSEC Business School, and has done educational webinars on ETFs and futures with Singapore Exchange.  Mr. Dennison has worked at Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan, CIBC, and Societe Generale and holds a Masters in Financial Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Kheng Siang is the Asia Pacific Head of Fixed Income at State Street Global Advisors, based in Singapore. He is responsible for leading the Asia Pacific fixed income teams managing global and local fixed income mandates as well as driving the regional effort to provide innovative fixed income solutions to clients in the region. Prior to joining SSGA in 2005, Kheng Siang was a portfolio manager at ABN AMRO Asset Management where he managed global fixed income portfolios. Kheng Siang started his career as a Portfolio Manager at Bank Negara Malaysia where he managed fixed income portfolios of the foreign reserves and held the position of Head of the Financial Market Analysis Section.

James Hu joined Income Partners investment team in early 2014 as Portfolio Manager. His work concentrates on mainly onshore RMB (“CNY”)/ offshore RMB (“CNH”) related investment, including portfolio management of the Firm’s RQFII onshore CNY bond fund, the offshore CNH Investment Grade bond strategy, and CNY rates derivatives trading. Currently, also a member of the Investment Committee. He also covers Asian USD credit bonds issued by greater China issuers.

James’ role is to closely monitor China's macro-economic trend as well as Central Bank policies and decisions. He formulates trading ideas based on comprehensive analysis of liquidity, demand-supply, credit and rates movement.

With a strong statistical and mathematical background, James builds and develops time series and regression models which help him predict economic data and discover trading opportunities.

Prior to Income Partners, James worked as a CNY rates trader at Citibank (China) Head Office, where he focused on onshore bond, derivatives trading, and also traded G7 FX and G3 rates. He has served as one of People’s Bank of China's Open Market Operation prime dealers and interbank bond market makers and he maintains in-depth relationships with onshore regulators and market participants.

James holds a PhD degree in statistics from Yale University (2010) and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2004). He speaks Mandarin, English and Cantonese.

Ms. Angie Lin is the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Solutions, who is primarily responsible for overall management, strategic planning, business development and overseeing the investment solutions business of AMTD Strategic Capital Group. Ms. Lin joined AMTD Group in February 2012 and is the Head of Asset Management, where she set up the securities and wealth management business. She has served as AMTD's Head of Investment Solutions since February 5, 2016 when the Group commenced its investment solutions business.

Ms. Lin has over 10 years of experience in the financial products trading and investment advisory. From March 2009 to January 2012, she worked at Polaris Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, a leading Taiwan-funded brokerage firm in Hong Kong, where she was primarily responsible for fixed income financial products trading and lastly served as an associate director of financial product department. Li Renn Tsai

Li Renn Tsai is Managing Director, Head of Asia at Tradeweb responsible for developing the firm’s business in the region. Mr Tsai joined Tradeweb in March 2017 from the Singapore Exchange (SGX), where he held the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Fixed Income Trading. 

Before joining SGX in 2013, Mr Tsai was Senior Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at DBS Bank, after serving as Fixed Income Investment Director and a member of the Management Committee at DBS Asset Management since 2009. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director and Head of Structured Solutions at UBS.

Mr Tsai holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Jesper Bruun-Olsen

Before joining Algomi, Jesper spent eleven years at Tradeweb, most recently as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific from 2001 to 2012. 

Jesper joined as part of the early team that established Tradeweb in Europe. In 2004 he was appointed to head up the company's expansion into APAC, initially based in Japan and later Hong Kong. Most recently, he held the position of Managing Director at OANDA in the region. 

He holds a degree in Commerce and Finance from Copenhagen Business School, and also participates in the European Commission sponsored Executive Training Programme (ETP) focused on conducting business in Japan.

Kem has over 18 years of capital market experience and joined AxeTrading in late 2017 to head up sales in the Asia Pacific region. Over the last 8 years he has worked as a senior sales figure in Societe Generale and HSBC’s Fixed Income ecommerce teams. Kem helped to grow the Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets businesses through his expertise in electronic trading, market structure and execution advisory services.

Kem honed his etrading knowledge with roles at both Bloomberg and Reuters but started his career at Hemscott in the late 90’s. Having worked at both sell-side and vendor institutions, Kem has been able to have unique insight of market structural changes over the last 10 years.

Kem holds a Business Administration degree from the University of the West of England in Bristol.

Simon is Head of ETF Advisory at Bluefin Europe. He is responsible for all aspects of sales and business development across EMEA and has over a decade of buy and sell side experience within the ETF industry having held sales and trading roles in London.

Prior to joining Bluefin in April 2014, he worked for BlackRock iShares raising seed capital and spear heading market making and distribution initiatives with clients in the UK, Germany and Switzerland. Simon has also held equity sales and program trading roles at Tradition and Barclays Capital in London.

An associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), Simon is a keen amateur rugby player and fan of English cricket. He Lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children.
